After graduating from Knox College in 1970 Mac Hamilton commenced his career with Real Estate Research Corporation in Chicago. He was hired by Draper & Kramer and sent to Atlanta to assume management of 3,500 apartments in Atlanta, New Orleans, Houston, Tulsa, Memphis and Nashville. In 1975 Mac and his young family returned to Minnesota to assume management of Mayo Clinic’s investment real estate portfolio in Rochester.  In 1979 Mayo helped launch Hamilton Real Estate, Inc. by becoming our first client.  Hamilton Real Estate’s focus is on commercial sales, leasing, management and the development of investment properties. A native of Rochester, Minnesota Jamey Shandley has over 40 years of experience in the commercial real estate. Throughout her career Jamey has been involved in all facets of the industry focusing primarily on development of industrial and office properties. Jamey’s volunteer involvements have included the site selection committee for Rochester’s newest public high school, the Olmsted County Zoning Board of Appeals, the Olmsted County Community Housing Partnership and as a pet therapy team volunteer at Mayo Clinic. In 2009, Jamey played an integral role heading the MNCAR taskforce bringing Minnesota Association of Commercial Realtors to the Rochester Marketplace. Jamey joined Hamilton Real Estate, Inc. in 1989. Mike Stoebe has been a leader in property management since 1981.  The founders of INH Property Management recruited Mike to the firm after his graduation from St. Cloud State University.  During his 38-year career span, he has been involved in all aspects of property management, including third party client portfolio oversight, client acquisition, development origination and sourcing, and providing executive leadership with his partners in managing their enterprise of five core businesses with 200 employees.  As a senior management executive, Mike and his team of regional property managers control a multi-family real estate portfolio valued at more than $200 million.

Jim E. Illies, Jr. has been involved in property management since 1988 when he provided part-time management to student rental properties. In 1996, Jim Illies, Jr. joined INH Property Management, Inc. as a full-time Property Manager and became a full partner at INH in 2002. He holds the following industry credentials:

Jim Illies Jr. specializes in multi-family management, asset management and has served as court appointed receiver for a variety of properties. He is also experienced in the development, acquisition, financing and sale of investment properties.  Jim Illies, Jr. is familiar with the needs of investors/owners as he acts as Chief Manager/President in several real estate entities and business entities.

Ryan Nothnagel has been involved with multi-family property management since 2001 when he joined INH Properties as a maintenance technician. He began this position while pursuing his undergraduate degree from St. Cloud State University. Upon graduation, Ryan was promoted within INH to Assistant Property Manager, where he assisted two CPMs® with the day-to-day operations of more than 1,000 residential units.

Ryan earned his MN Real Estate license in 2012, and in 2013 he completed his IREM (Institute of Real Estate Management) coursework requirements, final examinations, and management plan. As a culmination of this experience and education, he earned and was awarded the CPM® designation from IREM® in September 2013. In January of 2016, Ryan joined Michael J. Stoebe and James E. Illies as a partner in INH Properties, Inc.

In addition to expanding in the multi-family residential arena, Ryan is diversified in that his experience includes successful management of multiple commercial property accounts for a variety of owners. This diversification coupled with his past maintenance experience has provided invaluable insight and knowledge into all aspects of property/facility maintenance.

Outside of day-to-day property management, Ryan stays active in the community by speaking with students at local high schools about being first-time renters.

In a property management career spanning more than two decades, Greg Hafften has managed all types of multifamily housing, from market-rate to luxury to subsidy-based. He has a stellar record of turning around numerous underperforming properties by steadily increasing occupancy rates and revenue.

Greg is responsible for all Hamilton INH operations in Southern Minnesota.
